At least 31 killed by Israeli shots near Gaza’s help site, says the Ministry of Health

London – At least 31 people died and more than 200 people were injured after the Israeli forces opened fire near a help distribution site west of Rafah in the South Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health in the territory of Hamas.

In a statement published in X, Israel’s defense forces said: “At this stage, there are no casualties known for the FDI’s shots” inside the site. “The matter is still under investigation,” he added.

The local witnesses cited by Associated Press suggested that the shooting occurred about 1,000 meters from the aid site, which is led by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation supported by the United States and Israel.

In a Sunday morning statement issued before the last shooting report arose, the GHF said the help “was distributed again today without incident.”
