The United States is moving an additional aircraft carrier, according to US officials, among other US military developments since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Iran.
The USS Nimitz aircraft carriers and three destroyers in their attack group are now heading to the Middle East from their current deployment to the Western Pacific, officials said. The Nimitz is going to go to the Middle East “without delay,” said one of the officials, where he will superimpose with the USS Carl Vinson.
