The armed gunmen broke into the house of former Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman with his family inside at that time, according to Video that shared on social networks of its residential security cameras.
The King County Sheriff’s office said the robbery occurred just after Sunday, which was Sherman’s 37th birthday.
“House being stolen at gunpoint with my family, it’s not what nobody wants for a birthday gift,” Sherman said. “Fear situation that my wife masterfully handled and kept my children safe. If anyone has any information that can help find these people, communicate.”
The video shows three people crossing a window in Sherman’s house.
Police said theft is still an open and active investigation.
It is not clear if something was taken from Sherman’s house. Researchers have seen the images of the security chamber and use that and any other evidence to build the case, police said.

There have been no arrests and there are no suspects at this time.
Sherman, a corner, was a fifth round of Stanford in 2011 and became the Linchpin defense of the “Boom Legion” of the Seahawks. He spent seven seasons in Seattle, being appointed the first team all pro three times and doing the Pro Bowl five times.
Sherman won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2014. He later played for the San Francisco 49ers for three seasons and finished his career with a brief period in Tampa Bay. He currently works as a television commentator for Thursday Night Football de Amazon Prime.
This incident occurs after seven Chilean people were accused of attacking high -profile athletes in the NFL and the NBA in February, federal prosecutors said.
The group allegedly stole jewelry, watches, effective and “other luxury goods” of the houses of two players of Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, and stole the house of the Marshal of Campo de los Bengals de los Cincinnati, Joe Burrow, federal prosecutors said.
